The Irish brought in a strong recruiting class for 2009. Getting LB Manti Te'o from the west coast schools was huge. He has the ability to be the best LB out of the 09 class.

Irish Faithful hopes thats the case cause another 6-6 year puts Weis back on the hot seat.

I think it was smart to keep Weis. His young star recruits will mature over the off-season.

Weis is returning for 09... so maybe some improvement over this year's 6-6 record is needed for him to win back over Irish Nation.

I could see ND playing in the Cotton Bowl, but they need to have a good showing against USC in 2 weeks.
