Scott Shapell NFL Betting Review

The sports betting public, or at least those who love their NFL betting, had a good day overall on Sunday. The NFL picks fell the public’s way, as the favorites went 10-5 against the spread on Sunday, which usually means a winning day for bettors. Looking back at the NFL action, two of the unbeatens came out of the day with a loss attached to their record. Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons lost to New England, while San Francisco lost an absolute heartbreaker in the final seconds to the Vikings… Continue

bloglist What Will Change in Germany?

In the final hours of her campaign for re-election, Chancellor Angela Merkel proclaimed that anchoring worldwide the principles of the German economic and social model would be a main task of a new government in Berlin.

Mrs. Merkel said this was a matter “of the defense of our ideals,” according to a dispatch from the German-language service of The Associated Press.

To say the least, here was a fairly puzzling and even contradictory statement about where the world’s leading expo…

Eazy Going Allen Eagles

Since all I see on Allen's web site is matt Brown. This guy is "overrated", How can you repeat state if you have a QB who is selfish. People put on here that Allen has two QB's well I cant see it. If TC makes one mistake they take him out of the game. I wish sports writer would stop saying Allen has two QB's when only Matt is playing. Ok lets talk about the rest of the offense, for some reason Brown only thinks that he has three players on his offense. He is one because he runs more than he thro… Continue

Vinnie Chase A Step Back And A Move Forward

I feel really bad for Sam Bradford, suffering an injury that shouldn't have happened. The Sooners offensive line was a worry for weeks but nobody thought it would be that bad. At times they seemed unprepared and made too many mistakes and penalties against BYU. How many potential drives were stopped cause of holding or false starts? But it’s the same song and dance for OU, again folding in big games. When it’s year after year it just appears to look like they refuse to adapt to what’s going on d… Continue

Jayde Rowe Student Plays In Two Football Games in One Day

October 21, 2008 TheToronto Star.com While I have heard of situations in which a high school athlete plays twice in one day, a scenario at Forest Hill Collegiate was something quite rare - and I'm sure will draw a fair amount of discussion. Jayde Rowe, a Grade 9 student, played in two football games on the same day. Very talented young man, and a darn good rugby player from what I have been told, but I'm not quite sure if there are any regulations in the Toronto District School Board athletic… Continue
