North Texas High School Football Week 11: Arlington Lamar vs. Abilene

In this round one of playoff action, the Abilene Eagles traveled to Arlington and the new Cowboy's Stadium to take on the Arlington Lamar Vikings. The game would get off to a slow start as the two defenses were setting the pace, but it didn't take long for the Eagles to take flight as they would go on to roll the Vikings 42-10 and set their sights on El Paso Coronado in round two. Standout tailback Ja'Terrian Douglass of Lamar would finish his brilliant high school career with just 92 yards against a stubborn Abilene defense.
